How does it play

Snake Arena from Relax Gaming is a 5×5 slot built around the golden snake chasing the knight symbol. There are 30 paylines across the slot but the real potential from the slot will come from triggering the wild chase feature or landing the golden snake and knight to trigger the free spins bonus.

Wild Chase Feature

Snake Arena’s wild chase feature can be randomly triggered on any spin in the base game of the slot. You will see the Wild Chase screen appear to know that you have received the feature.

The features plays out with the snake’s head appearing at the top of the slot and the knight at the bottom. If the snake and knight line up on the same slot reel the snake will attack the knight and turn that reel wild. The feature continues until the snake and knight do not line up.

It is possible to land a wild reel on all 5 reels with this feature and your payout is calculated once the feature has ended.

Snake Arena free spins

The Snake Arena free spins feature is triggered whenever you land the snake on the same spin as the knight. The Snake’s head must be on the slot reel for it to be eligible to trigger the slot bonus. If you don’t trigger the bonus the snake’s body will turn into wild symbols and any connections will pay out.

Once you are in the free spins bonus on every spin the knight will appear on the screen. The snake will turn into wild symbols if there is a connection available before moving towards the knight. Each time the snake eats a knight its length increases by a square of the slot.

If the knight lands in a position where the snake eats itself before reaching the knight the free spins will end.

There is an additional feature available in the Snake Arena free spins. If you eat enough knights that the snake grows big enough to fully fill reels 2 to 5 you will trigger an additional 1,000x win on top of what you have won so far in the free spins bonus. This will end the free spins feature.
